Reduced carbon footprint
We carefully assess the climate impact across our entire value chain, encompassing the influence we exert on our suppliers, our internal operations, and the emissions stemming from the use of our products and services.
Our ambition is to become a climate-neutral operation, meaning we aim for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions at the company level. This entails balancing or offsetting our emissions through various climate-friendly measures. Our most significant environmental impact arises from travel and transportation associated with customer visits and the dispatch and receipt of deliveries. To achieve climate neutrality, we must minimize greenhouse gas emissions in areas where we have the greatest influence: transportation, energy, and waste.
To ensure our sustainability efforts align with the 1.5-degree target and the Paris Agreement, we have established the following climate goals:
- Our operations will be climate-neutral by 2025 (Scope 1 and 2 according to the GHG Protocol).
- Our indirect emissions will be reduced by 50% by 2030 (Scope 3).
To decrease our indirect emissions, our long-term ambition is to enhance sustainability throughout the entire value chain. We consistently work to map our total carbon footprint. We hold our suppliers and distributors to high standards aligned with our values and goals. To increase transparency, we aim to initiate measurements and assessments of our climate impact based on actual emissions, gradually moving away from generic estimates based on expenditures (purchase data). This means actively requesting and collecting climate data from our suppliers to a greater extent.
Our environmental policy
One approach for us to reduce our emissions is by adhering to our environmental policy. All employees receive an overview of Idnet's environmental policy upon employment and are responsible in their daily work to:
- Conserve raw materials, water, and energy, prioritizing environmentally friendly alternatives, such as renewable sources.
- Properly manage our operational waste.
- Offset the negative impact of our operations regarding greenhouse gases.
- Monitor and ensure environmental awareness among our suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
- Assist our customers in their environmental efforts.
- Cultivate awareness among our employees.
- Continuously improve our environmental performance and prevent pollution in water and air.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

Our service department is dedicated to supporting our customers by providing swift and reliable service and maintenance. Through regular inspections and repairs, we ensure that our products remain in optimal condition and can be used for many years to come.
To reduce our ecological footprint, we have a deeply rooted recycling culture, aiming to recycle components and materials from older products. By taking responsibility for the entire lifecycle of our products and using them until the last possible moment, we reduce waste and minimize our environmental impact.
