Business ethics and anti-corruption

Business ethics and anti-corruption are fundamental principles necessary for building trust and sustainable business relationships. We are strongly committed to upholding high ethical standards and proactively working to prevent corruption in all areas of our operations.

To maintain our integrity and responsibility, we have implemented a spectrum of measures and guidelines. Firstly, we have a clear and comprehensive policy prohibiting corrupt practices, irregularities, and unfair distribution of benefits within our company. This policy also extends to our suppliers and distributors, where we expect them to adhere to similar ethical principles.

We conduct regular internal audits and controls to ensure that our business processes and decisions are transparent and adhere to the highest standards of fairness and honesty. We also promote a corporate culture where employees are encouraged to report any irregularities or suspected corruption, in accordance with whistleblower laws, and we guarantee protection for those who choose to make such reports.

We believe that business ethics and anti-corruption are fundamental to building and maintaining long-term, credible, and sustainable business relationships. By being ethically responsible and steadfast in our principles, we are confident that we can continue to be a reliable and respected partner, contributing to a fair and corruption-free business environment.

Continuous stakeholder dialog

In general, the value chain for electronics and IT products is long and complex, involving numerous subcontractors from raw material extraction in mines to component manufacturing and final assembly in factories. The value chain is global, and the IT industry is dominated by a few global companies. Material transport occurs between or within countries where the production of different components takes place.

The primary general risks in the IT value chain are human rights and workers' rights violations, negative climate impact in the extraction of raw materials and material production, and corruption, mainly linked to the mining and oil industries.

At Idnet, we deeply believe that sustainability is a shared endeavor that should involve not only our own company but also our suppliers and distributors. We value open dialogue and close collaboration with these crucial partners when it comes to promoting sustainability and human rights in our supply chain. This is followed up by our continuous supplier assessments.

We strive to establish open and trustful relationships with our suppliers and distributors, and a central part of that dialogue revolves around sustainability. We share our sustainability goals and expectations and urge our partners to do the same. By being clear about our expectations and goals, we can work together to ensure that our supply chain is sustainable and responsible.

Furthermore, it is crucial for us to be aware of and comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the sustainability domain. This ensures that we not only follow best practices but also meet legal requirements. Our positions, policies, and expectations for collaborators and employees are summarized in our Code of Conduct, the Idnet Code of Conduct. Here, you can read and download our Code of Conduct.
